Mix this pigment in a medium such as a transparent binder or epoxy and create your own glow in the dark work of art.

This pigment is of high quality.
Provided it is properly charged and used in a dark area.

How well or long does this pigment provide light? We often get this question because the effect is often overestimated.
So it is important to know how glow in the dark works.
We have tested many pigments and in our opinion this is the best.
But how does it work?
After being properly charged by light or blacklight, it will glow in the dark.
If the light goes out at once, you have the best effect. However, after 5 to 8 minutes this effect will already have decreased by 50%. If the room is not dark, you will no longer be able to see it.
However, if the room is really dark, you will be able to see it for hours.
The last 50% can continue to glow for hours.

Now it's not really dark! Such as outside (light pollution, the moon or a lamppost further away)
Or indoors through a light, alarm clock, etc., then the effect will be disappointing or not visible.
So it is important that it is really dark! (can't see a hand in front of your eyes)

If you want to use this pigment outside, remember that it already starts to work at dusk and when it is dark (after 15 to 30 minutes) the effect is already at 50% and therefore does not work optimally. We therefore advise against outdoor use.

The pigment is water-coated, which means that it can be processed in water-based paint.
Without a water coating, the pigment would immediately dissolve and be no longer visible.

As you read, glow in the dark is very cool to work with, but it is also important to consider whether the application you want to use it for is suitable for glow in the dark.

Instructions:

You will get the best result if you mix 50 grams with 75 ml to 100 ml binder (1 in 2).
After mixing, it is best to use the product immediately because the binder can damage the pigment in wet form. So only mix what you are going to use immediately.
